Murgana municipal hut is in operation. It is located in the Balkan Mountains.The hut is a three-storey building with a capacity of 60 beds, the upcoming repair will increase the number to 120 beds.It is water and electricity supplied and has central heating. There are bathrooms on each floor. Digital TV and Internet accessare available.
Starting point for the hut is Chelopech village and a 17-kilometer trail – 3 hours walking distance, leads to it. The hut can also be reached by car.
Near the hut, there are several rock formations suitable for climbing and attractive for hiking.
Korminesh municipal park – amphitheater stage with 800 seats, where aninternational folk festival, mummer‘s carnival, motor gatherings, regional meeting of the elderly, children’s and sports events, theater performances and concerts are annually held;
Kachulka dam – close to the village and Korminesh park. It is suitable for recreation and fishing tourism.
Sports:
Municipal Sports Complex – hosts many sporting events of local and national significance, such as karate, applied cycling, road traffic safety, etc;
Paragliding – tandem flights are organized annually together with Free Dimension – Chelopech Paragliding Club. Chelopech Open Accuracy Landing Contest is held here;
St. Todor’s Day Horse Racing – organized annually with the participation of teams from around the country;
Speedway – natural terrain with a length of 1,200 m in Mayata locality for organizing annual auto, motorcycle racing, as well as conducting a round of the National Autocross Championship – Class Buggy and Super Buggy.
