
The American technology company Tesla will make its first supercharged station in Bulgaria. It will be built in the city of Plovdiv on Bulgaria Blvd., near Pobeda Street.
On the 25th of April, Tesla has updated its list of charging station on its website and our country appeared in it. The station in Bulgaria is part of the corridor that the technology company is building as a connection between Western Europe and Turkey. The Supercharger corridor starts from Zagreb and will pass through Slavonski Brod, Belgrade, Nis, Plovdiv and Odrin.
Tesla’s campaign for building a global network of charging stations has been launched in 2012. The corporation has already invested in 5,400 supercharging stations and 9,000 departmental modules for hotel fitting.
According to the company’s plans, the number of stations will continue to grow. By the end of 2018, facilities worldwide should be 10, 000 and one of them will be in Bulgaria.
