Vratza municipality will acquire a brand new electric automobile. For its purchasing, the mayor’s team has already allocated nearly 60 000 BGN. The vehicle will be used entirely for the purposes of the administration staff. Requirements are for the car to be new, unused and in line with the EU’s technical standards.
The engine will be electric and the mileage after just one electric charge will be minimum 100 km. The warranty of the automobile will be 5 years, the public procurement says.
The electric vehicle will be equipped with all necessities required. Apart from climate controller, the car will have electric outdoor heated windshields, parking assistance, an electronic system for enhancing the adhesion of the drive wheels, assistance on slope drive off, a system for dynamic stability of the automobile and others.
The mayor’s team has already launched a public procurement for a supplier. The deadline for submitting the documents is the 11th of September.
With this new acquisition, the administration will keep its intentions for using environment-friendly transport in the city. Apart from this strategy, the officials have also submitted another project for using eco vehicles for the public transport.
