At the invitation of Chiflik Livadi – a polyculture farm in the village of Damianitza, the world's best farmer, according to TIMES magazine, Joel Salatin, arrives for the first time in Bulgaria.
He will be in the city of Sandanski from the 28th until the 30th of September.
Salatin is the creator of the famous Polyfield Farm in Virginia, USA, which supplies 4,000 families, 10 stores and 50 restaurants. He is world-famous for his innovative and integrated livestock system.
His program in Bulgaria includes a two-day master class in Sandanski on 28th and 29th of September.
The event is suitable for beginner farmers as well as active farmers and landowners. The place where the master class will take place is the “Jubilee Hall” at the “Kliment Timiryazev” Agricultural Vocational High School.
"We are proud of the fact that we have managed to persuade Salatin to give us some of his valuable time in Europe and to share his methods on the terrain of completely unknown Eastern Europe," said Philip Harmandjiev, owner of Chiflik Livadi – the Bulgarian farm using the methods Of Joel Salatin.
