Stara Zagora is the best city to live in Bulgaria according to the jury of Darik Radio. The city has collected most of the points and fulfilled the special criteria, which generally describes the expectations of the modern person for a perfect city.
Some of the elements of the criteria include environmental status, level of investment, new jobs, child-rearing opportunities, medical facilities, educational institutions, and others.
The prize was awarded to the Mayor Zhivko Todorov at an official ceremony in Sofia.
The city that won the award of the listeners of the radio and the readers of darikradio.bg with over 50% is Burgas.
Last year's winner of the "Best City to live in" Award – Sofia took two awards – for Business City of the Year and for Digital City.

Green City – Dobrich
Art town – Plovdiv
City of Knowledge – Varna
Town of the Tradition – Nessebar
Euro city and small euro city – Pleven and Primorsko
City of Financial Sustainability – Bansko
City of Investment – Dimitrovgrad
