A new generation kindergarten will be built in the largest complex of Burgas “Meden rudnik”.
The innovative building will be the first public building in the city with high class for energy efficiency. The groundbreaking of the new pre-school was made today in the presence of Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, Deputy Mayor of Education Yordanka Ananieva and Magdalena Manolova – Director TSAU “Renaissance.”
The eco friendly kindergarten will be located nearby the indoor pool of the complex. The construction is expected to be completed by the summer of 2018 and hopefully in autumn, the nursery school will welcome its first students.
“There will be very interesting rooms for training, and many play grounds in our new kindergarten. I hope this is the way to reduce the tension and the need of pre-schools, because here – in “Meden Rudnik” the need of them is enormous. We would like to assure all parents that their children will be educated and brought up in a very suitable environment, “said Mayor Nikolov.
The project has implemented all modern innovative solutions related to energy-efficient systems for heating and cooling. Its philosophy is aimed at creating architectural spaces that provoke the development of a different kind of spatial thinking in children.
The kindergarten will be built in two phases. During the first phase it will start working with 3 garden groups with 26 children each and 1 nursery group with 20 children. In order to exploit the potential of the property as much as possible, during the second phase there will be two new garden groups with 26 children each. Step by step the full capacity of 150 children will be reached.
The Mayor Mr. Nikolov added that when the construction of the kindergarten is completed a designing of a new Regional Police Department in complex “Meden Rudnik” will be started. In addition to this a new connecting road will be built in front of block of flats number 122 in this area.
