You are invited to discover the beauty of Sarmizegetusa Regia in Romania under the explosion of autumn colors. From October 1st until November 30th, the site is open every day from 09.00 until 18.00. The last entrance to the site will be 30 minutes before the closing time.
Sarmizegetusa Regia was the capital and the most important military, religious and political center of the Dacians before the war with the Roman Empire. Erected on the top of a 1200-meter-high mountain, the fortress, comprising six citadels, was the core of a strategic defensive system in Orăştie Mountains in Romania.
