A series of outdoor film projections has already started at Iulius Park in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca. The third season of “Movie Nights” began with the Oscar-winning movie “Joker” on 1st July.
New blockbusters on the big screen
The movie program will continue with the productions “Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn”, which tells the story of the bad girls in Gotham, led by the “mafia princess”, “Motherless Brooklyn”, a film that follows the story of a detective particularly affected by Tourette’s syndrome, and “The Way Back”, which presents the adventures of a Polish cavalry officer captured by the Red Army, who manages to escape from a Siberian Gulag.
Every weekend those interested in the seventh art can expect to find a number of interesting movies, starting at 21:30. The program for the month of July is as follows:
- July 11 – Birds of Prey
- July 17 – Motherless Brooklyn
- July 24 – The Way Back
At the Iulius Park, you will get the opportunity to laugh at the comic situations, empathize with the dramatic stories and live the action of the films screened at Movie Nights. You’ll find a comfortable set-up as well as snacks that will be available at the stands in the park. Access is free, but places are limited.
Within the perimeter of the event, it will be necessary to wear a protective mask, observe safety, hygiene and social distancing measures. The inlet and outlet flow will be differentiated, and the temperature of the incoming visitors will be measured.
Entry will be gradual, starting at 20.00. The host of the cinema evenings is Raiffeisen Bank Romania.
The organizers of the open-air summer cinema advise everyone who wants to enjoy the event to do so responsibly. They also warn that the movie schedule may change due to adverse weather conditions.
