The official tourist portal of the Municipality of Varna welcomes its guests to its brand-new premises, featuring new sections, photos and videos. The site is available in six languages: Bulgarian, English, Russian, German, French and Romanian.
New sections and interactive modules
Special sections provide useful information about the sights and ways to get around and in the Black Sea city. A wide range of detailed descriptions is also available for attractions, museums, temples, parks, galleries, art spaces, as well as sports opportunities in the city.
By visiting the website, you will learn what you can see during your stay in the city, where you can eat and how to have fun. The many tips on how to have an unforgettable time in Varna are also not to miss out on.
The main focus of the page is on the events of the cultural and sports calendar of the Bulgarian city. In the updated version of the portal, you will find the brand new module called “Tourist routes”.There you’ll find information on upcoming tours of Varna with a guide, in a specific language and on a specific route.
In support of the tourism businesses, the modules for creating profiles of hotels, tour operators, restaurants, shopping centers, shops, transport services and all other activities related to the industry have been further developed. Inquiries from users of the portal are redirected directly to the respective registered site.
All users registered in the platform have the opportunity to update their profiles with new information and photos. Anyone wishing to join the portal must create an account and keep it up to date.
Ever since its establishment in 2014, the site visit.varna.bg, has reached an audience of an average of 2,000 people per day during the winter months and over 4,500 per day during the summer season. The visitors of the platform are from over 190 countries, according to the Tourism Directorate of the Municipality of Varna.
