Jewelry, stone-carving, woodworking and pottery summer workshops are organized in Vratsa by the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the folk craft lessons students and young people from the cross-border region will be able to participate in the “Danube project – I can hear you and I will not forget you, I can see you and I will remember you, I can recreate you and I will understand you " part of the Interreg V program – A Romania-Bulgaria. The classes will continue until Friday.
During these summer workshops, regional museum workers and craftsmen from the city will pass on their experience and skills to the participants. The trainers are Bilyana Danailova – jewelery, Kouman Zhekov – pottery, Georgi Stoilov – woodworking, Eugene Kartalov and Milen Vassilev – stone-cutting.
The training will combine experimental demonstrations with the active participation of children and young people, as well as the production of modern products from different materials: wood, clay, stone and others.
The created items, during the summer workshop, will be promoted and exhibited at the city museum.
